Board to hear from patrons about proposed Logos Charter School

The Medford School Board welcomes public comment at its upcoming meeting concerning a proposed new charter school. A Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in the South Medford High School cafeteria. The proposed Logos Public Charter School seeks to incorporate the concepts of personalized learning, strong business partnerships, a collegial relationship with parents and classrooms without walls.” It hopes to reach out to families that are currently schooling their children at home.

To review the Logos Charter School proposal and to learn more about how this proposed public charter school differs from the district’s current programs, click here. Patrons who desire to comment at the public hearing are provided three minutes to address the Board. A written copy of the comments is helpful for documentation of public input.
