Board receives proposed school year calendar for 2010-2011

The School Board received a draft calendar for the 2010-2011 school year at its April 6, 2010, meeting. The calendar restores six instructional days for the coming year, providing 170 full days of instruction for Medford public school students.

Superintendent Long noted this calendar was developed in consultation with the Medford Education Association. He stated that the teacher's association was working with the district to provide for a full year of schooling for students and sufficient preparation and planning time for staff.
