Columbus, Medford, Oregon 97501 until 2:00 p.m., PDT, on Thursday, August 12, 2010, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.   The Medford School District is seeking bids for Surplus Property consisting of:    One (1) Used AB Dick Series 9910 Printing Press with spare parts.   ITB may be picked up by the following methods:   By calling: 541-842-3780   By downloading from the following web site: http://www.medford.k12.or.us/RFP.asp   By emailing: Chet.Wilson@medford.k12.or.us   The Medford School District reserves the right to reject any Bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and reject for good cause any or all Bids that are not in the best interest of the district.   The district reserves the right to (1) reject any Bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, (2) to reject for good cause any or all Bids that are not in the best interest of the District.   Bids shall be in accordance with the specifications and other contract documents on file in Purchasing Department Office, phone 541.842.3780, where copies may be obtained. All proposals shall be addressed to the attention of the Manager, Purchasing & Distribution, Medford School District 549C, 750 North Columbus Avenue, Medford, Oregon. Bids shall be placed in an envelope which is sealed and which clearly states the name of the bidder, the date of the proposal opening, and appropriate wording to indicate definitely the nature of the contents. Do not send proposals by FAX.  Proposals submitted via FAX will not be accepted. The Medford School District reserves the right to cancel this invitation or reject any and all bids submitted or to waive any minor formalities if in the judgment of the School Board the best interest of the District would be served. No proposer may withdraw his/her proposal after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding forty-five (45) days.
